Stand with the 50.

Early this morning, the New York Times released an article about the 50 engineers and employees staying behind at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant, usually staffed by 800. I doubt I have to tell you how dire the situation has become, the possibility of the worst Nuclear disaster since Chernobyl in 1986. After suffering a quake with a 9.0 magnitude, and a violent Tsunami, Japan's need has overwhelmed the country.

I ask you, that today, you stand with me, and the 50 left to divert a disaster to a nation already reeling with grief and destruction.

We must take action. To help kick start the small donations, we'll donate a $1 to the Japanese Red Cross for the first 250 people to Tweet this:

Stand with the 50, Donate $10 today to Japan: http://ow.ly/4eBbU #Japan50

Of course, I would ask you to dig out your wallets, and put $10 forth. Our world is small, and Japan needs us more than ever.
